What is a Mortgage Loan?
A loan that is granted with a lien on a real estate is called a mortgage loan. The term ‘mortgage’ normally refers to a mortgage loan. Mortgage loans are offered irrespective of the credit status of the borrower simply because of the fact that the loan is issued on the basis of a property under mortgage and not really based on the credit worthiness of the borrower.
