When preparing a home for sale there are some thing you should always remember before selling your home or setting up dates with agents for an open houses, it is wise to get ready with a home selling schedule. Obviously, you are going to want the highest possible price for your home; however you may make mistakes if you quickly sell your home before you remember these things:

A national realtors group did a survey to find out what works and what does not. The amazing part of the survey showed that the things that worked, were inexpensive. Then insure that your landscaping is the best it can be.

Remember when preparing your home for sale the importance of the way it looks. Try to get your house in its best shape without remodeling always remembers paint and landscaping. Keep your yard in the best shape it has been since you owned your house even if it means hiring a gardener.
These are just a few things to remember when selling. There are other things that you could not possibly know or remember even if they were all listed. This is where a good realtor comes in; do not sell your home without one.

I agree that no one should spend an enormous amount of money on home staging. I simply followed tips like this and I got great results.
